Cursor Code Review and Production Readiness

If you have built an app quickly with Cursor and need to know whether the code is safe to launch and safe to keep changing, TPR Media reviews it and fixes what matters first.

We work with Replit, Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, v0, Base44 and Claude Code.

What does Cursor usually generate, and what do we usually find?

AreaWhat Cursor usually generatesWhat we usually find
CodebaseAI-assisted code in your own repository, in whatever stack you choseDifferent patterns in different files, depending on the session that wrote them
ChangesLarge multi-file edits accepted quicklyDuplicated logic, dead code and changes nobody fully reviewed
DependenciesPackages added to solve each problemUnneeded, outdated or overlapping packages
TestingLittle or no automated testingNo safety net, so every change is a risk

What problems do Cursor apps usually hit?

Nobody has read all of it.

Fast acceptance of AI edits means parts of the codebase have never been reviewed by a person. We review the risky parts first: auth, data access, payments and anything handling personal information.

Every session has its own style.

Inconsistent patterns make the code harder for anyone, human or AI, to change safely. We standardise the core patterns.

No tests, no confidence.

We add tests around critical journeys so you can keep shipping without fear.

How can TPR Media help?

We start with a fixed-price App Launch Audit from A$2,800 plus GST, delivered 5 business days after full access. You get a launch readiness score, prioritised findings and a rescue-or-rebuild verdict, then choose to fix it yourself, have us fix the critical items or have us finish the app.

Frequently asked questions

Is code written with Cursor safe to put into production?

It can be, once it has been reviewed. Cursor speeds up writing code, but research such as Veracode's 2025 report found AI-generated code introduced OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities in 45 per cent of test cases. An independent review of auth, data access, secrets and payments is the safest step before real users arrive.

Will you rewrite my Cursor project?

Only if the audit shows a rewrite is genuinely cheaper than fixing it. Most Cursor projects live in a normal repository with a mainstream stack, so targeted fixes, refactoring and tests are often enough. The rescue-or-rebuild verdict in the App Launch Audit shows the cost of each path so you can choose.

Can I keep using Cursor after you hand it back?

Yes. We leave the codebase with clearer structure, tests and notes on conventions, which also helps your AI tool make better changes. The audit includes paste-in prompts for low-risk fixes, and we flag the areas where changes should be reviewed by a developer before they are deployed to your live app.
