A Replit app is secure when its secrets are stored properly, its database is backed up, its deployment is configured for production and every protected action is checked on the server, and TPR Media reviews and hardens each of these before you launch.
We work with Replit, Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, v0, Base44 and Claude Code.

| Area | What Replit usually provides | What we usually find |
|---|---|---|
| Secrets | A built-in Secrets manager for keys and tokens | Keys pasted into code, config files or front-end bundles instead of Secrets |
| Database | A managed database that Agent can create and change | Development and production data not clearly separated, and no tested restore |
| Deployment | Several deployment types for different workloads | The wrong deployment type for the app, or production settings never reviewed |
| Auth | Built-in auth options or custom auth written by Agent | Permission checks in the front end only, and admin routes open to any logged-in user |
We confirm every API key, token and password lives in Replit Secrets or your deployment's environment settings, never in code or the browser. We check that development and production use different keys and list any key that should be rotated.
We confirm what backups and restore options your database has, add a scheduled independent export where needed, and test that a restore actually works. A backup nobody has restored is a hope, not a plan.
We check the deployment type suits the app, production settings are separate from development, the custom domain and HTTPS are correct, and there is a way to roll back a bad release.
We test sign-up, login, password reset and sessions, and confirm every protected route and API checks the user and their role on the server.
We scan the code, the built front end and the repository history for keys that should never be public, and remove them properly.
Replit Agent can build a lot in a short time. Security decisions need a deliberate review.
Testing against live data risks real customer records. We separate environments.
We set up backups, monitoring and rollback so a mistake is a short interruption, not a disaster.
We start with a fixed-price App Launch Audit from A$2,800 plus GST, delivered 5 business days after full access. You get a launch readiness score, prioritised findings and a rescue-or-rebuild verdict, then choose to fix it yourself, have us fix the critical items or have us finish the app.
It is secure if secrets live in Replit Secrets rather than code, development and production data are separated, backups have been tested, the deployment is set up for production and every protected action is checked on the server. If you cannot confirm all five, a Replit security review will show you exactly where the gaps are.
Replit provides tools such as checkpoints and rollbacks, but you should still confirm exactly what your database plan covers and how far back you can restore. We recommend an independent scheduled export as well, and we test a restore so you know it works before you ever need it on a bad day.
Yes, that is the point of reviewing before changing. We assess first, agree the fixes, then make changes in a development environment and test your key user journeys before anything reaches production. If you prefer to do the work yourself, the App Launch Audit includes paste-in prompts for the low-risk fixes in Replit Agent.
