Bringing an iconic film moment to a major musical's Queensland premiere
TPR Media was trusted to film a promotional piece for the multi-award-winning Australian production Muriel's Wedding the Musical. To celebrate its Queensland premiere season at QPAC and the 25th anniversary of P.J. Hogan's original film, the musical's stars returned to a recognisable moment from the screen story. Natalie Abbott, playing Muriel, and Stefanie Jones, playing Rhonda, recreated the famous 'Goodbye Porpoise Spit' scene in Coolangatta, Queensland. Our role was to film the recreation on location for the musical's promotion.
